Tesla Roadster (next generation)

Tesla showed the new Roadster on Oct 15 and said consumer production begins in 2028; reservations reopened.

The flying 'Rocket' version using SpaceX-derived cold-gas thrusters is not expected to be street-legal. Engadget reports the thruster option requires a $250,000 reservation, and InsideEVs reports Tesla 'cannot guarantee' that pre-orders will ever be delivered.
